Big Boi of Outkast:The world should experience the new djay.
As a live sound engineer, I am often asked to play music at gigs. At the moment I am on tour doing sound for The Prodigy, where I am also required to play walk-in music and often something to fill in between the DJ and the band going on stage. This can last anything between 10 minutes and half an hour.
I am not a DJ, but djay has been a great help for me. The ability to keep adding tunes to keep the crowd going is great, while also being able to leave it in “Automix” mode while I work on my main job!
We have audiences of between
5 000 and50 000 , so I am glad it all works so well.
Jon Burton is the FOH Sound Engineer for The Prodigy.
For me as I am really a total Digital DJ now using 2 MacBooks and Ableton live with Serato on one and djay on the other, djay has become an important part of prep for me as i use iTunes for all playlists and its easier to go through tracks with djay. Also for early and lounge events the Automix is second to none for me. I have used djay for a whole gig at a house party just so I could demonstrate how easy and fun it is… we had the Mac plugged into a 47" TV, people loved it!
Probably the most important to me is STABILITY, djay is totally stable and has NEVER let me down, to be able to set up a mix and walk away with confidence is something i have not really been able to till now.

I have been a DJ for over 20 years plus I used almost every DJ equipment out there as a scratch DJ and producer. I find djay to be one of the easiest and most stable softwares on the market. With djay I can prepare my mixes and scratches on the fly from any location and its fun too.
djay is a tool which every DJ should have no matter what type of work you do. The spinning virtual turntables are the closest thing you will get to a Technics 1200 on a computer.

For the last three Annual Major League Baseball All-Star Games, I’ve produced pre-generated cues and music written specifically for the games on my Mac. By using algoriddim’s djay, I’m able to provide live music on the field in real-time. Before using djay, stadium house engineers were playing my music off of Windows Media Player to the entire park and we had a difficult time looping the tracks to fill in time.
djay has allowed me to personally improvise audio file editing on the fly. I’m now able to perfectly end a song and fade into another song by using djay’s auto looping feature.
Brian Langsbard is one of Major League Baseball’s top composers. He has provided grand compositions for some of MLB’s biggest events and TV productions including the World Series and All Star game.
I’ve been a DJ for 15 years and I’ve been very reluctant to use a digital DJ program until I tried djay. The combination of the great software and the VCI-100 controller is just so easy to use, very responsive and very stable. I think this will definitely be the program for the next generation of DJs. Every kid will want to be a djay!

I love djay. I use it to put my shows together plus it’s a great production tool. It gives me 100% freedom to achieve the maximum in the studio. It’s a clean and simple interface, but you still can do countless things with it. Its iTunes integration is phenomenal! If you call these other digital turntable applications the “stars” of the industry… then djay is the “GALAXY”!
Raptile, CEO of Monstablokaz Entertainment, sold half a million records worldwide and had various top-ten hits including “Make Y’All Bounce” featuring Xzibit.
I teach jazz saxophone and use a lot of play-along CDs in iTunes. djay’s interface is great and highly functional to change keys, speed up or slow down tracks. It is the newest and best software to use on current Macs to vary pitch and tempo of MP3s and Playalongs without adding the usual audio artifacts.
Simply the greatest small audio software out there. I use it almost every day.

iPod users have been craving to mix music with Mac OS X just like it was once done with cassettes and vinyl. Now it’s possible with the best system ever. It’s the music tool of the next generation.

I am a professional photographer in Florida, USA. I put together simple DVD slideshows for my clients. I have recently found djay and started using it. WOW, it is totally awesome. For the first time I can add all the songs exactly where I want them and fade in and out. Un-freakin-believable!!!
You have made my life so mush easier, I can not thank you enough.
